Milena Nowak completed her bachelor's degree in media informatics at the TU Wien. Afterwards she started her master studies in Visual Computing at the TU Wien and computer science at the University of Bergen, which she finished with the master thesis "Hierarchial Data Structures for Molecular Visualization". For many years she worked as researcher in the Multiple Senses Group at VRVis, where she developed application-oriented solutions in the field of VR/AR, for example for the pharmaceutical industry. in 2023 she joined the Integrated Simulations research group of VRVis.
