Milena Vuckovic did her Ph.D. in building sciences at the TU Wien with a special focus on urban climate system and the energy use patterns in building stock. During this time and after the completion of her doctoral work, she was employed as a research assistant and lecturer at the TU Wien. She afterwards worked as a scientist at AIT Austrian Institute of Technology in the field of environmental studies. Her work at AIT focused on the application of computational design systems, specifically the data-driven parametric modelling approaches, towards high-resolution modelling and visualization of the environmental response of urban systems under present and future climate. In 2020 she joined the VRVis, where she is now part of the Visual Analytics group.
