Florian Spechtenhauser was born in Schlanders, Italy. After graduating from the "Claudia von Medici" business school in Malles, he studied media informatics and visual computing at the Vienna University of Technology. From 2012-2020 he worked at VRVis as a researcher in the Visual Analytics group. Since 2020 he is part of the Visplore GmbH.
