From January 15 to 19, 2023, researchers and industry professionals from all over the world met in San Francisco to share the latest developments and achievements in the fields of visualization, advanced imaging, and more, as part of the Electronic Imaging Symposium, which is organized in a series of specialized conferences.
Kresimir Matkovic, head of our Interactive Visualization Group, was present with the paper "Comparative Visualization for Noise Simulation Data", which was not only presented at the Visualization and Data Analysis conference on January 18, 2023 in the session on Visual Analytics, but was also awarded the Kostas Pantazos Memorial Award for Outstanding Paper in Visualization and Data Analysis.
The awarded publication presents the innovative method for interactive visualization and analysis for NVH (Noise, Vibration, Harshness) simulations in engine development, which VRVis is jointly developing with our research partners AVL and the University of Zagreb.
