The award was given for the contribution "neuroMAP" of the department Biomedical Image Informatics of VRVis in cooperation with the Research Institute of Molecular Pathology (IMP). "neuroMAP" is a web-based tool that enables the interactive exploration and visualization of potential connectivity of neural structures and supports the formation of new hypotheses on brain function.
