VRVis is awarded with the Special Prize of the new founded Innovation Award.
In many places, patents are regarded as the "hardest currency" of corporate innovation. To increase the focus on the potential of patented research results and solutions, the business magazine Trend and the ÖGVS - Gesellschaft für Verbraucherstudien have created the Innovation Award. This award rewards Austrian companies with an above-average number of patent applications.
In the category "Data Processing; Calculating or Counting" of the International Patent Classification, VRVis took first place with its patent solutions developed as a result of its application-oriented research for the years 2018 and 2019 and was presented with the Special Prize of the Innovation Award 2020/21.
