On September 28th, 2018 VRVis participated in the European Researchers' Night. The aim of this Europe-wide event is to bring science closer to the population. In this context Bettina Schlager, researcher in the VRVis Multiple Senses Team and specialized in Virtual Reality, took part in an FTI dialogue event of the BMVIT for the promotion of young scientists. At a scientific "Speeddating", the participating students had the opportunity to talk to different scientists in small groups. Bettina Schlager showed a pair of virtual reality cardboard glasses and talked about her work, everyday research and career opportunities in general as well as at VRVis.
