VRVis launches a FEMtech career project, which is funded by the Federal Ministry of Transport, Innovation and Technology (BMVIT) within the framework of "Talents"!
CEO Gerd Hesina comments: "We are very pleased with the positive grant notification, which is of great importance to us in a double perspective. On the one hand, it confirms that we are on the right track with our efforts so far, on the other hand it approves our approach to creatively meet the challenge of promoting women in science!"
From July 2017 until the beginning of 2019 different measures will be taken - both internally and externally - in order to further promote equal opportunities and gender diversity. Important steps are, for example, raising awareness of the issue, building gender competency and interlacing it with the areas of public relations, human resources and career development.
With FEMtech, the Federal Ministry of Transport, Innovation and Technology (BMVIT) supports women in research and technology and creates equal opportunities in industrial and non-university research through various activities.
