Interactions Patterns and Techniques in VR for Industry Applications

communication medium

Proceedings of 2019 World Conference on VR Industry

Abstract

Immersive virtual reality devices allowed six degrees of freedom for user interactions and the user interface is now all around the user's body. Although the research of 3D interfaces for virtual reality follow the process of hardware and software evolution since the beginning, there are no standardized methods yet. The article will give an overview of experiments in different perception scales in VR, showing different human-centered design solutions for interactions patterns and techniques in VR foe industry applications.
