Dipl.-Ing. Florian Ganglberger

Florian Ganglberger has been doing his PhD in the Biomedical Image Informatics Group since January 2014. Before, he studied Medical Informatics at TU Vienna and gained some experiences in biomedical data/image analysis at several institutions (CeMM, Medical University of Vienna, Biocrates Life Science AG, Medical University of Innsbruck as a PhD Student). He is currently enlisted in the IMP projects for the Wulf Haubensak group. Those suit quite well to his primary research interests: Neuroinformatics, biomedical image/data analysis, statistics and visual analytics. He has expertise in statistical analysis, various biomedical image modalities (Confocal microscopy, fMRI, MRI, CT, DTI), feature extraction, multivariate data analysis and several programming/script languages like Matlab, R, C/C++, Java etc. He is also eager to extend his knowledge of neurobiology and genetics.
