From May 17 to 19, 2017, the VRVis team was "deployed abroad" in London. The team of Andreas Reichinger presented the current project progress at the consortium meeting of the ARCHES project.
On Thursday, there was a Meetup of all ARCHES partners at the Victoria & Albert Museum. There was also a special guided tour through the exhibition (focusing on the most accessible objects, such as a Ming vase). In the afternoon all project partners presented on the current state of their work, followed by a pleasant evening in the pub "Bunch of Grapes".
On Friday the next presentations took place in the Wallace Collection. In addition, there was a presentation by the London Research Group (consisting of people with different disabilities) about their regular meetings and the activities taking place. This lecture was also translated into sign language respectively translated into English. After a joint lunch, a tour of the Wallace Collection was held with a special focus on the exhibits selected by the Research Group.
