Dipl.-Ing. Dr. Gerd Hesina

Dr. Gerd Hesina has experience in software development in various programming languages for 26 years, experience in 3D visualization projects for 14 years and as senior researcher and project manager at the VRVis research center since 2002. Since July 2016 he is CEO of VRVis. He is author and co-author of several internationally refereed scientific papers. In addition to his work at VRVis he is lecturing at the University of Applied Sciences Technikum Wien and University of Applied Sciences Salzburg. Gerd Hesina received his Master (1997) and his Ph.D. (2001) in computer science from TU Wien.
