Georg Zotti is a computer scientist and astronomer specializing in cultural astronomy. After a long career in archaeological prospection and virtual archaeology (ArcGIS, astronomical simulation in an archaeological context (e.g. Stonehenge), 3D printing/milling of terrain models and projection mapping as well as special model construction for exhibitions, LiDAR drone operator, ...) he has been at VRVis since 2024. He has been co-developer of the well-known open-source desktop planetarium Stellarium (https://stellarium.org) since 2010 and has thus made virtual archaeoastronomy generally accessible.
