The VRVis was represented with a full paper, a poster, two short papers and a panel participation at the VCBM conference in Brno from 4 to 6 September 2019.

On July 22, 2019, Johanna Schmidt gave young women insights into her work as scientist at VRVis at the "International Summer Academy in Engineering for Women" and discussed career and career entry opportunities.
On 3 July 2019, the results of the EU project ARCHES were presented at the Kunsthistorische Museum Wien. Within the framework of this project VRVis developed tactile reliefs and a gesture-controlled multimedia guide for more accessibility in museums.
The VRVis was present with several publications and presentations at the EuroVis 2019 from 3 to 7 June 2019 in Porto and also received two awards!
On 23 May 2019, the company outing led us to the Lower Austrian Provincial Exhibition, afterwards we did some hiking on the Hohe Wand.
The Applied Artificial Intelligence Conference of the WKO will take place on 27 May 2019. VRVis will hold a workshop on visual analytics along the process of predictive modeling.
Johanna Schmidt is a podium guest on the topic of AI at the Europe Day of the WKO Foreign Trade on 7 May 2019.
On 25 April 2019 the VRVis opened its doors again for the Daughter's Day. Girls aged 11-16 got the opportunity to spend a day in IT and research.

From 11-15 February 2019 the Shonan Meeting took place in Japan of the National Institute of Informatics, in which VRVis also participated.
