Two awards from the TU Vienna for VRVis young scientists: Daniela Stoll receives the EPILOG Best Poster Award and Elitza Vasileva receives the Siemens Award of Excellence.

VRVis researcher Daniela Stoll recieves the EPILOG Best Poster Award 2020 for her recent academic work.
On 1 December 2020, the TU Vienna once again honoured outstanding young researchers. In the virtual award ceremony two VRVis researchers received awards for their outstanding and promising research activities. Daniela Stoll was awarded the EPILOG Best Poster Award 2020 for her diploma thesis "Tactile Multi-Media Guide - Interaction design on tactile reliefs", in which she developed new solutions for barrier-free art as well as including cultural mediation within the EU project ARCHES. Elitza Vasileva, who after an internship at VRVis now writes her diploma thesis in the Geospatial Visualization, Semantic Modelling and Acquisition research group of VRVis, was honoured with the Siemens Award of Excellence. This prize is awarded once a year to female computer science students to honor outstanding academic achievements.
