Head of Multiple Senses

Since 2000 Anton Fuhrmann is a senior researcher at VRVis and since 2020 Head of our Multiple Senses Group. In his research, he focuses on Virtual Reality as well as Augmented Reality. He also teaches at TU Wien and FH Technikum.

Current projects
- Onsite-AR: Through AR, PlanRadar and VRVis link data from Building Information Modeling with reality on construction sites
  In construction projects, 2D plans, 3D plans, reconstructions or real world data run in parallel without being linked to each other. VRVis and PlanRadar are now bridging this gap with a mobile AR tracking solution, the Onsite-AR project.
